Host Country Agreement between the PCA and Brazil, 25 August 2017

According to a press release, the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and Brazil signed a Host Country Agreement on 25 August 2017 in Brasília.
By this agreement, Brazil (the host country) and the PCA establish a legal framework allowing PCA-administered proceedings to be conducted in Brazil on an ad hoc basis. These proceedings include arbitration, conciliation, mediation, and fact-finding commissions of inquiry.
