Paris Court of Appeal, 12 December 2017, Hulley Entreprises, Veteran Petroleum and Yukos Universal v. Russian Federation, nos. 15/11664, 15/11666 et 15/11668

The Yukos shareholders gave up on the enforcement of the award. Following this, the Russian Federation requested the shareholders to pay €1.3 million damages under Article 700 of the French Code of Civil Procedure. The Court dismissed the claim stating that Article 700 only covers fees of proceedings on foot.
